On May 31, 2022, 31 year old Tre got on his Kawasaki street bike to enjoy a day just like any other day when he was struck by a pickup truck who did not have the right of way and was critically injured. Tre suffered a traumatic diffuse axonal brain injury and slipped into a coma. After nearly 3 weeks in the critical care unit in Owensboro, he was transferred to a long term acute care hospital in Evansville. Although Tre is making some purposeful movements, he has yet to awake from his coma. Tre is a valued employee at Daramic in Owensboro, and is a beloved family man that is greatly cherished by his family and friends. He has a beautiful 9 year old daughter, Reagan, of whom he is so proud of. He loves taking her to her soccer games and practices, and is so proud of how good she plays. While Tre’s body and brain rests and tries to heal itself, Reagan and his family and friends are feeling the effects of his absence, as well as the financial strain that his sudden loss of income has brought about. The doctors cannot tell them when or if he will wake up, for they are only human, and only God knows the answer.
The All American Camaro and Firebird Association with Tim Allen has teamed up with Wicked Ways Car Club and Operation BikerDown to raise funds to help with the expenses that are piling up while Tre is busy fighting hard to come back to us. Follow this page for updates as we will add details as we go. If you can drive it or ride it…BRING IT!!! We want to see it all…cars, trucks, bikes, Jeeps, finished, not finished, lowered, lifted, whatever it is….BRING IT!!! Details on awards classes and registration still to be determined and will be posted as soon as the information is available. In addition to raising funds for Tre’s family and his beautiful Reagan, we also hope this event will raise awareness to always look out for our brothers and sisters on 2 wheels while we are on the roadway. One split second of an inattentive driver can change, and has changed, a bike rider’s life forever.
